After being fired from the Buffalo Bills before the end of the season, Rex Ryan seems to have landed himself a comfy gig for the next few years.
The New York Daily News reports that the former coach is packing up and headed to Bristol, signing a deal with ESPN to join Sunday NFL Countdown. His charisma, opinions, analysis and knowledge should bring entertainment to the show every week.
He appeared on the Super Bowl Sunday version of the show and if you watched that, you got a good preview of what’s to come in the upcoming NFL season.
At the least, this seems like a good break for Ryan, who was ousted from his coaching positions with the New York Jets and Bills earlier than expected.
