RJ Barrett Declares for the NBA Draft

This comes as no surprise to anyone, but it’s finally official. After one season at Duke, RJ Barrett is declaring for the NBA Draft.

The freshman’s stock has slightly slipped since the start of the season, when he was considered the No. 1 prospect in this year’s class. As of now, he is looked at as the No. 3 prospect behind the likes of Zion Williamson and Ja Morant, but that depends on who you ask.

Barrett finishes his season averaging 22.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists while being selected to AP first-team All America honors.

The Blue Devils were one game short of the NCAA Championship when they lost to Michigan State in the Final Four by one point. The question now is when Williamson and Cam Reddish will be declaring for the draft.
