Russell Westbrook Splits Kings Defenders For Nasty Slam

Russ can soar!

Russell Westbrook has had his share of vicious slam dunks since coming back from that injured hand and it was another night where he would throw down a poster. Playing against the Sacramento Kings on the road, he started the 1st quarter on this note, splitting through the defense and making sure Ben McLemore remembered it.

Unfortunately, the Oklahoma City Thunder‘s first game with Dion Waiters was a failure, as the team went down 104-83. Waiters was only 2-9 shooting coming off the bench, Westbrook only scored 10 points and Kevin Durant scored 24 for his team.

It was the effort of Rudy Gay and Darren Collison that won this one for Sacramento. They had 28 and 24 points respectively. DeMarcus Cousins also contributed 23 points and 15 rebounds.
