Russell Westbrook Has a Severe Case of the “Marshawn Lynch Interview Virus”

Westbrook shares his in-depth thoughts on last night’s OKC Win

Last night during the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 2014 New Year’s Eve finale game, Kevin Durant made his return to score a season-high 44 points. One person who was a little too over excited for his cohorts return last night, was superstar point guard Russell Westbrook. After getting into a brief tussle with former no. 5 overall pick Alex Len, Westbrook was given his first technical foul of the game. A few minutes later, Russell would finish an and-one drive over one of the Phoenix Suns defenders, but officials wouldn’t allow him to boast and taunt opponents anymore.

In fear of an actual fight happening down the stretch of action, they immediately gave him his second technical foul of the night – thus leading to his ejection of the game. Over the last month, Marshawn Lynch has engaged in a few of our favorite post-game interviews this season, with epic one word or phrase responses to reporters.

Westbrook isn’t new to the classic post-game interview scene and detailed his hilarious thoughts on last night’s Oklahoma City big victory at home, “It was a good win for us tonight.”
