Damian Lillard burst onto the NBA scene this season making waves out the gate. Drafted sixth overall by the Portland Trailblazers, he was regarded as one of the most interesting players in the Draft. From the opening tip of this season it was clear that Lillard would become a force in the league as he was quickly given the reigns to the show in Portland.
He has become the clear favorite to be the Rookie Of The Year, and has the Blazers in prime position to make a strong playoff push. If teams were to do the draft again today, would Lillard go number one? Hard to believe he wouldn’t.
