Russell Wilson
Position: Quarterback, Seattle Seahawks
Strengths: Mobile and cool under pressure
Russell Wilson had plenty to prove when he entered the NFL this past season, as a number of teams passed on him because of his height. A good amount of those teams now regret that decision. Many were shocked when Russell was named the starting QB for the Seahawks, but they backed up their decision by turning heads all season. His mobility and good decision making made him standout as a potential star in the league.
He would have been an easy Rookie of the Year choice if it wasn’t for RGIII and Andrew Luck, and even then he made a very strong case for the award. Russell was able to one up both of them though as he made it the farthest in the playoffs, and going forward looks like he has a great chance to be an elite player in the NFL.
