In the third quarter of last night’s Miami Heat vs. Toronto Raptors game, there was a small scuffle on the floor. In fighting for position, both Serge Ibaka and James Johnson got their tensions high, pushing and throwing elbows at each other. Johnson even swung and semi-connected, with Ibaka swinging back.
They both got ejected for their role in the incident.
They weren’t the only ones, though. After the game, DeMar DeRozan and Goran Dragic got into a heated discussion, causing coaches and players to shove one another. This was after Wayne Ellington hit the game winner on the Raps.
Considering both of these teams are currently at the top half of the Eastern Conference standings, it could make for a very physical second half of the season when the two meet each other again and even better, when they see each other in the playoffs.
