Zac Stacy‘s reaction to the St. Louis Rams drafting Todd Gurley in the first was not all that well. With a crowded backfield now forming in St. Louis, Stacy quickly requested to the team that he wanted to be traded and the Rams made it happen.

The team has shipped his services to New York to play for the Jets in exchange for a 7th round pick.

Last year, when the Rams drafted Tre Mason in the third round, his job was in jeopardy and he quickly lost his starting position and descended in depth chart.

Now he joins a team which already has Chris Ivory, Bilal Powell, Stevan Ridley and Daryl Richardson, in hopes of becoming the feature back and repeating the success he had his rookie season with 973 yards and seven touchdowns.
