So, from Kyrie Irving to Isaiah Thomas to Lou Williams
Yesterday, rumors surfaced that the Cleveland Cavaliers are contemplating trading Isaiah Thomas. Since acquiring him over the summer, I.T. has been sidelined with his hip-injury; and just started team practice scrimmaging two weeks ago. His targeted debut for the season is set to likely occur in early January, which seems awkward that his name has been included in talks.
The reported trade would also include Tristan Thompson and the Brooklyn Nets pick, for DeAndre Jordan, Lou Williams and something else (draft pick or cap gap). With the Cavs lacking a sold rim protector, LeBron James has been vocal about the team acquiring DeAndre from Los Angeles.
However, Cavaliers ownership is hesitant to make this deal happen, with King James not willing to agree to long-term contract extension before his pending 2018 free agency.
The growing belief with executives and general managers is that LeBron will end up with the Los Angeles Lakers; but the Houston Rockets are also on the top of his list.
We’re just curious why the Cavaliers would want to trade Isaiah Thomas this fast, after not even seeing him play a single second with the team this year. Let us know in the comments what you think of this proposed deal, that could still happen before the deadline in a few weeks.
The rumor and innuendo is the Cavs offered Isaiah Thomas, Tristan Thompson and the Brooklyn pick for DeAndre Jordan, Lou Williams and something else (draft pick/ cap gap).

There is a belief that LeBron James is leaving Cleveland after this season, so for this deal to happen, LeBron would have to agree to re-sign with the Cavs. LeBron really wants DeAndre Jordan.

One other LeBron nugget, Houston is on his list. Which makes sense because that team is loaded with shooters.

I guess these are more LeBron nuggets than IT but the my opinion is, Cleveland doesn’t value IT.
