Times have been hard for Liverpool in recent seasons, going from possible candidates for the title to falling lower in the league and struggling to keep up with the pack. The reason for this could be down to the change in management, ownership and the money spent on players that just couldn’t provide the goods, resulting in players being sold on once again for much less money. Attempting to make 2013/14 a more positive experience, Brendan Rodgers has brought in the ambitious Iago Aspas from Celta Vigo. Expectations from the Spaniard are higher than ever this season, who scored 12 times in La Liga and is expected to form a connection with Daniel Sturridge, possibly Luis Suarez and Brazillian magician, Philippe Coutinho.
