While the other Philadelphia 76ers free agent target, Jimmy Butler, is out listening to pitches from the Houston Rockets and Miami HEAT, their other guy Tobias Harris is locking in a new deal with the franchise for the long term.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Harris will sign with the Sixers on a 5-year, $180M deal.
Free agent forward Tobias Harris has agreed to a five-year, $180M contract to return to the Philadelphia 76ers, his agent and father, Torrel Harris of Unique Sports Management, tells ESPN.

The contract does not have a player option.
It certainly helps Philly retain one of their big guys, especially since they traded for him last season. One of their big priorities was to resign him.
At worst, even if they lose Butler, they will keep Harris with the young core.
