Over the course of the past three days, the sports world and beyond has been heartbroken because of the tragic death of Kobe Bryant, while we’ve seen plenty of his past teammates and friends emotional as they spoke about him on TV.
One who has remained silent the past week has been his wife Vanessa, who has suffered the loss of a husband and daughter.
Tonight, she broke silence and posted a vulnerable and sad message on Instagram about Kobe and GiGi, saying that losing them is devastating and she can’t imagine a life without them. She also thanked everyone for their prayers and asked for privacy during this time.
We are devastated and have been forever changed by the sudden loss of Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna. We send our love to Vanessa, the Bryant family, and to the families of the other passengers.
