Watch a Trailer for “UNTOLD: Malice At the Palace” Netflix Documentary

The Malice at the Palace will go down in infamy as one of the craziest NBA events ever. We’re sure the league would like to erase it from history, but the players were affected for their reputation. It truly changed the landscape of the NBA for decades to come.

For those who weren’t there to witness or heard about it, it took place on November 19, 2004 in a game between the Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit. Ron Artest, Stephen Jackson, and Jermaine O’Neal all got involved in fighting fans in the stands after a cup was thrown Artest’s way.

The incident got players involved for months that season (Ron received a full-season suspension) and it put a stain on their reputation forever.

Debuting today, you can watch the UNTOLD: Malice At the Palace documentary on Netflix and find out what happened that night from those who were there.
