Kentucky Wildcats Defeat Wichita State For Ticket To The 2014 Men’s NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.

The Kentucky Wildcats have given the SHOCK of the 2014 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament thus far, with their upset victory over Wichita State. The Shockers were previously undefeated throughout the season going 35-0 and were even picked by most experts as a legitimate final four candidate; but more so a favorite to win national championship next month.

Their loss this evening wasn’t something any fan or expert expected before things headed to Indianapolis for the sweet 16. Standout freshman, Julius Randle would finish the game with 13 points, 10 boards and 6 assist; but saw heavy contributions from fellow starters James Young with 13 and the Harrison brothers (Aaron & Andrew) combining for 39 points.
