Wolves Superstar Kevin Love Breaks Hand, Out 4-8 Weeks

The Wolves who were already expected to be without their star point guard Ricky Rubio for the first 6 weeks of the season; but will now be without their best player Kevin Love who broke the third and fourth metacarpals on his shooting hand this morning while working out before a team practice.

After signing a 4-Year, 60M contract extension over the summer, the management is not excited about this news as the Wolves were expected to be one of the teams competing for a playoff spot in the Western Conference not digging themselves in a whole early in the season; but it looks like they’ll fall victim to that without their two best player for the first month and change of play.

Minnesota acquired Chase Budinger, Andrei Kirilenko and Brandon Roy in the off-season as they’ll look to those veterans to provide production along with Nikola Pekovic until their two stars return to action in November and December.
