Classic Moment: The Rock Extremely ‘High’ putting over reigns
Following a Sunday night loss at Money in the Bank, former world champion, Roman Reigns, has been suspended by WWE for reportedly violating the company’s wellness policy.
Since this is his first offense of taking illegal drugs, the off-spring of the legendary Anoaʻi family will only sit down thirty days. This means he’ll miss WWE’s upcoming Raw and SmackDown draft; and will not be able to work any live events or make scheduled appearances.
Just last night, it was announced that Reign would appear at the Battleground in July, but Vince McMahon felt this shocking move was necessary to send a message to the rest of his locker room about the seriousness of not using non-prescribed medication when it’s not WrestleMania week.
Roman is eligible for a return on July 21st, which will be after the first edition of WWE’s live SmackDown series. It hasn’t been reveled whether this was for performance enhancement drugs or marijuana, but look for a classic Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose match very shortly.
I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating WWE’s wellness policy. No excuses. I own it.
