WWE Announces Permanent SmackDown Live Broadcasting

SmackDown moves to Tuesdays!

As WWE continues to mock the sibling rivalry of the behind-the-scenes Los Angeles Lakers situation, the company is slowly taking steps to reacquire lost viewership. Today, Stephanie and Shane McMahon have officially announced SmackDown is moving to Tuesday nights this July 19th and will be a live two-hour program. SmackDown, which has always been taped on Tuesdays, aired previously on Thursdays, as well as Fridays before its move to USA a few years ago.

The series is set to air 8:00pm-10:00pm ET and will be an immediate follow-up to WWE RAW’s live three-hour block, 24 hours beforehand. We’re sure Impact Wrestling is thrilled about this new announcement, which we expect Dixie Carter to potentially move its show to Thursday’s.
