Controls Are Noticeably Different
One of the biggest complaints we’ve heard this year is the new control layout. While the basic system is still the same from last year with shoot, pass and steal, there’s been some significant modifications for the better. This year, the post moves return to their original form (which should’ve never been changed from to begin with), which older fans of the series will feel right at home.
Jump-hooks, shoulder fakes and turnaround fade ways are all found within the smoother controller set up within the post. Behind-the-back, crossovers and between-the-leg moves also feel more precise when you’re in transition or on the perimeter. Our only gripes are substation and making lobs being too complicated on initial play through. We figured it out for each position in making subs, but we’re sure casual players will not be fond of either at all.
