5 Improvements We Love About “Madden NFL 16”

Pin-point accuracy for quarterbacks

One of the most intriguing new additions this year is pin-point accuracy for quarterbacks. To be blunt, the game focuses more on quarterback and receiver interactions than anything else. Hopefully, things transition back to defense and the run-game next season, but we can’t be mad at the 2016 edition.

With new passing mechanics introduced this year, those of you with a decent offensive-line will have time to properly decide on body-relative throws on the fly. We can now throw high, low, fade, inside passes like before, but this year feels extremely precise in comparison to other installments.

By far our favorite new addition this season is the all-new double-tap pass, which you can now avoid easy interceptions from safeties and tipped passes from linebackers (or picks from your J.J. Watts). Our advice would be playing with one of the worst quarterbacks on the league to get a better feel with the game, because there are significant differences playing with a pro-bowler in comparison to an average starter.
