Activision Officially Announces “Call of Duty: Black Ops III”

Still not tired of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare yet? Well, while we’re trying to decide on making the season pass purchase for an almost full retail priced title again, we get some blockbuster news from the biggest third party developer in the world. With the three-year cycle for Activision’s Call of Duty franchise finally underway, the publisher has formally revealed the next release for their upcoming installment in their shooting series. This fall, Call of Duty: Black Ops III will be arriving to all major consoles and will be produced by Treyarch Games.

The new third installment for Black Ops III will mark the first time a multiplatform release will be served to the masses from Treyarch since the 2012 effort Black Ops II. Above, is a teaser trailer of what to obviously expect this fall, but Activison has a world reveal planned for Sunday, April 26th. With e3 nearing in two weeks, we’re more than intrigued to see what kind of upgraded technology they’ll have in store for the core audience.
