Frank Fucking West is back!

We’re still in shock that Dead Rising 4 is releasing this year, after Capcom revealed the exclusive Microsoft title would be releasing to Windows and Xbox One this holiday season. With Christmas season set to officially begin in a few days, Frank West is gearing up for his return to the Willamette section of Colorado and take on another zombie outbreak.

The open world game will not feature a timer system; however, the Vancouver gaming company has announced some horrible news. Producer, David McAnerin, confirmed with fans of the title a few days ago, that two-player co-op mode will not be featured this year; but a four-player co-op mode will be available for multiplayer. He went to say it’s inspired by the original infinity mode, which fans of the original will love. We’re just a little bummed out about it now featured cooperative.

Capcom Games on Dead Rising 4 multiplayer co-op.

“It’s four player co-op. It takes place in the mall. You play as four survivors who are also featured in the story as well. You get a little more backstory on them, as well. You go into the mall and take part in crazy missions, trying to survive. The structure is, the four of you start the game together, you start in a safe house; you get a load up, get some weapons, get yourself ready to go; we unlock the doors, it’s killing, mayhem, madness lots of interesting missions that take advantage of our systems…You have to get to the safe house to survive the end of the day.”
