Microsoft reveals their official Halo Channel & Halo 5: Guardians beta release date!
Cologne, Germany has essentially turned into the Holy Grail for video gamers today, with Microsoft sharing a slew of new announcements and content for the Xbox One. While PlayStation Gamers are gearing up to receive big news later today, 343 Games has revealed the official Halo Channel to arrive on Xbox One this November.
The channel will be your go-to destination for all things within the Halo Universe. With the Halo: The Master Chief Collection nearing, Ascension and Sanctuary multiplayer maps have also been properly showcased. But the biggest news of Halo today is the official BETA for Halo 5: Guardians will be arriving December 29th and will run through January 18th.
This new release date is a 2-day delay from its original December 27th announcing a few months ago, which gamers like us will be treating the experience as a retail title.

343 Industries presents the first details of the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta available in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The beta will focus on 4 vs. 4 arena-style gameplay, giving players their first taste of the next generation of Halo multiplayer.
Sanctuary was announced as one of the re-mastered Halo 2: Anniversary maps included in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Watch the action as four Halo pros battle it out in Team Slayer for the first time on the reimagined Sanctuary map.
