The Xbox One may be receiving a controller update with the addition of a 3.5mm stereo jack for courteous gamers, but Microsoft is set to give their hardcore audience a new controller later this year. Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer took to the main stage to reveal plans of releasing an all new upgraded Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller for go-pro level precision. The new shinny and sexy accessory, features an all-new D-Pad – including hair trigger locks, a variety of thumb sticks and a complete arsenal of swappable components for complete customization. Game genres like first person shooters, sports and racing should see a drastic change the most for the accuracy and speed we’re fearful of for future online multiplayer cheaters.
Pricing hasn’t been revealed, but the elite controller will be arriving this fall to retail stores.
