Over the weekend, Microsoft accidentally made a Nintendo 64-emulator available for purchase on its Xbox One system. A few weeks ago during the summer update, MS enabled users to run compatible Windows 10 apps on its current-generation console.

For $9.99, the Win64e10 emulator for PC, XB1 and Windows Phone appeared only for a few moments, as one player was able to grab the app before it was taken down on Sunday.

The emulator revealed Super Mario 64 as one of the compatible titles that gamers could test out. However poor framerate was the determining factor for holding off on the app going out to the public. Earlier this month, similar emulators for NES, Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis were also accidentally teased on the Windows Store, but also taken down quickly.

Take a look at the utterly disgusting footage below and let us know in the comments, which classics you’d like to see appear on an emulator – or even remastered HD remake.
