The PlayStation Experience 2016!
With Marvel Comics sitting in a comfortable position for phase three of their cinematic universe, the comic-book company is planning for their return to the video game world.
According to Polygon, Marvel vs. Capcom 4 is reportedly set to launch sometime next year and is currently rumored to be premiered next week at PlayStation Experience 2016.
The Anaheim event in southern California will likely give gamers an extended look at the Spider-Man exclusive title for PlayStation 4 Pro with Insomniac Games, as well an announcement for the fourth entry into the main fighting series. Unfortunately, the game will center on popular Marvel Cinematic Universe characters and names from the X-Men Universe will likely be left out.
Expect names like Ant-Man and Groot to have featured roles in the game, alongside the Avengers – when Sony makes a formal announcement. Let us know in the comments what you think.
