Xbox One gamers, here’s the fighting game you’ve been waiting for!

Last month, rumors began swirling that the first installment of the Marvel vs. Capcom series would be arriving to next-gen consoles. Well, this weekend at PlayStation Experience in Japan, Sony announced that the cross-over franchise would indeed be returning next year to PlayStation 4, with the reveal trailer for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. Since MVC3 on last-gen consoles, it’s been over five years since the last installment of the and our wait will finally come to an end in 2017.

Don’t worry Xbox One gamers, this won’t be a repeat of this year when Street Fighter V launched exclusively for PS4 and PC. It’ll arrive to all Sony and Microsoft systems. The game will include single player arcade, training, missions, and a cinematic story mode. However, what we’re excited about the most if the return of 2 vs. 2 – which is showcased in the trailer above.
