Microsoft Reportedly Unveiling New Hardware at E3

According to Microsoft insider Brad Sams, a new Xbox hardware and controller unveiling is happening at e3. While it’s unlikely that a successor to the current model will be released before the end of the decade, the new controller is expected to be similar to its current design – but will come in a new colors. According to Sams, Microsoft is also planning a much large hardware related announcement, beyond the imminent Xbox-slim model, which could likely be a new Elite unit.

Following Nintendo’s NX announcement and rumors of Sony’s PlayStation 4K NEO console last month, these reports surfacing could be indirectly provided by Microsoft themselves. With the company looking to improve Windows 10 interactions between PC and Xbox One on game streaming, we’ll keep you in the loop with all things pertaining to the big reveal.
