‘Mortal Kombat XL’ Announced for PS4 & Xbox One

Mortal Kombat XL Announce Trailer

Following the disappointing Street Fighter V beta release last year, we transitioned our fighting focus to Mortal Kombat X. The title brought new life to the almost 25-year franchise; introducing a new fighting style, combos, fatalities and improved online stability.

Since then, a year has passed and NetherRealm Studios is looking to capture fans who didn’t buy the original version, with its new Mortal Kombat XL edition. This spring the game will hi digital and retail stores on PS4 and Xbox One, and will feature all contents from DLC Kombat Packs released in 2015.

However, if you already own the original version, an XL Pack is releasing simultaneously and will feature all the contents from Kombat Pack 2. It’s set to include new downloadable characters: Alien, Leatherface, Triborg, and Bo’ Rai Cho – as well as Predator, Jason, Tremor, Goro and Tanya.

Take a look at the breakdown below for the upcoming re-release out this March 1st.
