Here’s the touch screen in action!
Two weeks ago, Nintendo formally revealed pricing and launch details for their upcoming next console. With the Nintendo Switch set to hit retailers on March 3rd for $299, the Japanese company saw some criticism for not including a free game in its rare bundle.
During the launch-line reveal, that featured Mario Kart 8 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the Big N opted to not show off their touch-screen features. We’re assuming this is to stop the competition from getting any immediate ideas for mid-generation upconsole upgrades.
However, a pr-insider got a chance to give the world a first look at the swipe screen, while playing a demo for Skylanders Imaginators at the 6-minute mark. More details should emerge for the multi-touch interface and which games will be able to take advantage of the function, but take a look below at the preview – which also gives a glimpse at switching from mobile to television.
