Earlier, NBA 2K15 finally released to retail after a summer and brief fall campaign from Take Two Interactive. The past few games haven’t been our favorite soundtracks from our guys JAY Z and LeBron James in comparison to its glory days, which even the great Skateboard P has us instantly disabling his soundtrack as soon as we booted up the game to test out some fresh simulation basketball.
Although NBA 2K hasn’t had a great soundtrack over in 5 years (see: goat 2K song), we’re diehard fans and need sounds to get us through our sessions of the hilarity in online ranked team-up games with friends. We’re assuming the same can be said for most of you who muted that soundtrack as well, but don’t worry, we got you covered with some handpicked heat from the past and present. In the playlist below, we kept it strictly hip-hop in tradition – but also with a splash of R&B and alternative tracks to take moderate breaks from the aggressive sounds.
