The MVP of sports games is coming to Xbox
Since 2006, Sony has owned licensing rights to MLB games on consoles, with their MLB: The Show series. However, Monday night, developers announced The Show would officially be coming to next-gen Xbox Scarlett consoles, as well as Nintendo Switch.
This is set to happen in early 2021, with a new multi-year extension with Sony, as well as Xbox’s Phil Spencer saying, “Great to see the game is coming to more players.” However, until 2021 arrives, the PlayStation 4 will get the last exclusive baseball game, as MLB The Show 20 is set to launch March 17, 2020.
