SEGA Is Launching Retro Game Collection For Your Smartphone

Old school video game junkies are going to like the news of some classic titles making their way to iOS and Android, because SEGA has just announced that they will be launching retro games to be available on your smartphone thanks to a new service called SEGA Forever.

Basically, games like Sonic the Hedgehog, Comix Zone, Altered Beast, Kid Chameleon, and Phantasy Star II will be launching through mobile devices, with each game being available for free. If you don’t want to see ads while you’re playing, you can pay $1.99 for the title and get rid of them, yet still get have access to features like cloud saves, Bluetooth controller support and online leaderboards.

More titles are on the way too. SEGA will be adding new ones every two weeks after tomorrow’s launch, so keep an eye out for some of your favorite games to pop up in the coming months.
