Sony Reveals Pricing Details for their First 4K OLED TV

OLED 4K HDR? Sound from the screen!

At the top of the year, Sony unveiled their first ever OLED 4K TV line at the Consumer Electronics Show. Although LG technology has been the only company with an organic light emitting diode set featuring high-dynamic range, Sony’s new A1E lineup is set to officially launch this April.

The new A1E OLED 4K HDR HDTV will start at $4,999.99 for the 55-inch model, with pre-orders up now at Amazon and Best Buy. Its 65-inch XBR-65A1E model will be a little pricier, at $6,499.99, as consumers brace themselves for a price press release on the 77-inch model.

In comparison to LG’s models that start at $7,000 and the inability to purchase Crystal Sound set-up; Sony is introducing a new Acoustic Surface, which emits sound from its screen – taking audio to a new level. Take a look at the video above, for a demonstration of its new sound technology.

For music lovers, we’d recommend this with Tidal HiFi Master Audio.
