Meet the PS5
After months of waiting, Sony finally revealed the most-wanted console this year. The PlayStation 5 console unveiled by Sony finally happened today. Sony let loose the final look at both the standard and digital only versions for the PS5. Along with a slew of exclusive titles, there’s much to be excited about. However, the PlayStation 5 console family and peripherals looks intriguing as well.
Before the pending holiday 2020 release date, we got a look at advanced graphical updates. No release date or price was announced by Sony. However, any are already speculating a shocking price point for the Ultra HD Blu-ray disc version. This will likely be priced way above anything we’ve seen before.
Statement from Sony:
At PS5’s launch, we will offer two options: a PlayStation®5 console with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive and a PlayStation®5 Digital Edition without a disc drive. The PS5 gameplay experience will be the same, so the choice is all yours. While there are some slight differences in the look of each model, for the overall design, we wanted to deliver a console that’s bold, stunning, and unlike any previous generation of PlayStation.
