This is Why ‘Grand Theft Auto 6’ Hasn’t Released Yet

Stop Fucking Buying GTA V

A few days ago, Take-Two Interactive shared some mind-blowing news within the gaming industry. Through data collective from the NPD Group, the publisher revealed that Grand Theft Auto V has now becoming the best-selling video game ever in the U.S., moving 85 million copies.

The open-world title originally released in September 2013 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles, then the following year on current-gen systems. With an expansion to PC, and various updates on consoles; the title has remained active as one of the most-played titles on any online platform.

With that being said, we heard believe Rockstar Games is not looking to rush out anything; because they have no financial pressure on the biggest third-party franchise ever. Originally, we were expecting something to emerge last summer regarding the title, but Rockstar confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be arriving spring 2018. So, this week, the company revealed RDR2 would officially have microtransactions, as that will coincide with various DLC releases.

Maybe a teaser trailer could arrive next summer at e3 in Los Angeles; but we have high doubts that anything will emerge before 2019. Stay tuned for information next summer.
