WWE 2K17 Free on Xbox One for ‘WrestleMania’

Head to the store now. . .

Last night, when some of us were getting ready to hop on Gears of War 4, we hit up the Xbox One Store App to see what new games were for sale. In the midst of recognizing Forza Horizon 3 Blizzard DLC half-priced, our eyes raised when we saw WWE 2K17 said “owned by user.”

Well, we soon installed the game and realized that we may have gotten over on Microsoft with a free game, following a successful boot up. However, after checking social media, we found out that for this week only, the latest installment of the WWE video game series was free, for the next 6 days.

So, with the company’s big WrestleMania 33 event set to invade Orlando, Florida this weekend, enjoy a free play event of the entire game. For those of you who’ve taken an extended vacation away from wrestling games in recent years, the raw engine for 2K17 is one of the best in recent memory – but a story mode lacks for our attention to stick around past casual play.

If you’ve playing solo, our recommendation would be to use background music. It’s also on sale for $30 bucks this week as well, before next Monday.
