Microsoft Studios developer, 343 studios has released a brand new concept art for Halo (or Halo 5 as some are mistakenly calling it). 343 head, Josh Holmes shared a New Year’s blog last night following the announcement of senior art director Kenneth Scott parting ways with the studio after 4 years. Josh revealed that Tim Longo would be leaving LucasArts to join 343, after previously heading the Tomb Raider reboot and Star Wars: Republic Commando.

The new sneak peek now reassures those that were second guessing Kenneth’s departure, with an intriguing photo above of the untitled universe. While the longtime fans of the series may remain adamant on Halo, we’re hopeful any new details and storyline background urfaces in the coming months before e3, in preparations for Microsoft’s biggest “secret” of 2014.
