Xbox Series X to Receive Insane Framerate & Resolution Improvements, before ‘Grand Theft Auto 6’

Xbox Series X AMD Tech Framerate, Resolution Improvements

The most powerful consoles, gains more power. . .

Xbox Series X AMD tech framerate, resolution improvements revealed, as Microsoft gets ready to drastically improve the next-gen consoles. Last week, AMD released their FidelityFX Super Resolution: Supercharged Performance video, giving a breakdown of the improvements we can expect in the gaming world. The FSR technology, is set to boost framerates and new high-resolution experiences.

However, the biggest shocker, is that you won’t even need to upgrade a new graphics card or console. This also means that a simple patch on the Xbox Series X, will enable this upgrade without having to purchase a mid-gen console. At the moment, it’s set to launch on PC this June 22nd, and will have support on the Xbox Series X|S consoles like in 2023.

Right now, developers are looking into possibly making 4K the standard going forward, as well as 120 frames-per-second. However, within the next 16 months, we should see games going up to 8K and beyond 12fps. Initially, we expect first party titles to immediately have this inclusion, starting with Halo: Infinite.

Let us know in the comments what games you would like to see running in the new FSR technology.
