A Look at First Footage of Tupac’s ‘All Eyez on Me’ Biopic

Is Demetrius Shipp, Jr. doing a good job as Makaveli?

Last week, the official Tupac Shakur biopic, All Eyez on Me, finally wrapped up production. With the Benny Boom-directed project clearing many hurdles, thanks to executive producer Afeni Shakur, the tale of the iconic rapper is currently being edited this spring and summer for a fall release.

As you can see above, a person behind-the-scenes of the motion picture quickly snapped some footage of the biopic, showcasing Demetrius Shipp, Jr.’s reenactment of the infamous courthouse interview with the late rapper. While a Baltimore accent could’ve been crafted for more authenticity, most around the project are saying Demetrius nailed the once-in-a-lifetime role. The world will have their chance to officially judge the performance, when All Eyez on Me hits theaters next fall.
