James Corden has been hyping this special episode of Carpool Karaoke for days (and for good reason), mainly because the biggest artist in music was joining him for the ride. Live from London, Adele hopped in the whip and took a stroll with Corden for the Late Late Show, singing some of her hits throughout the 15 minute video.
Yes, she got into “Hello,” “Someone Like You,” and “Rolling In The Deep,” but it was her rapping Nicki Minaj‘s entire verse off “Monster” word for word and the two singing Spice Girls at the top of their lungs that took the cake in the karaoke session.
She also opened up to James about name dropping her own name when ordering food, getting trashed off mad glasses of wine, putting together a squad bigger than Taylor Swift‘s and ending the album title that relates to her age with 25. The funniest parts actually came from Corden, like his harmonizing vocals that even surprised Adele at how good they were and his “hypeman” audition for her live shows. Pure comedy.
