A&E Announces Premiere Dates for Tupac Limited Series & Biggie Documentary

Biggie June 28th // 2pac on June 29th

A year ago, A&E confirmed documentary plans for icons, Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. The network has finally confirmed premieres for both projects, which Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G. is first up with a two-part documentary – authorized by the Christopher Wallace estate.

That will air over the course of three hours on June 28th and the 29th on A&E. However, the following night, Makaveli’s Who Killed Tupac six-hour limited series will air directly after the Biggie finale. Civil Rights layer, Benjamin Crump, is set to host the 2pac series, who’s best known for representing the family of Trayvon Martin and attending high school with the late activist’s mother.

With Bad Boy and the family of Mr. Wallace recognizing the 20-year anniversary of his passing and Tupac’s All Eyez on Me biopic set to premiere later this year – fans of both artists should enjoy this latest treat of ‘90s rap nostalgia. Look for possible trailers to arrive in the coming days.
