Last year, Warner Bros. revealed Amber Heard would be joining their DC Universe, as Lady Mera. With Heard set to make her debut in the DCU this fall Justice League: Part One, she’ll have a much larger role next year when the official solo Aquaman film hits theaters.
Over the weekend, director James Wan showed the world a photo of Amber in costume as Mera; which featured a green-scaled jumpsuit – reminiscent of the comic book character. With Ms. Heard enjoying her first days as the Queen of the sea, look for Aquaman to hit theaters December 21, 2018. By the way, we wouldn’t expect any footage to arrive until Justice League is already in theaters.
