The Legend of Ron Burgundy continues after a 9-year layoff for Anchorman 2. Along with Brian, Brick, and Champ, Ron Burgurdy picks up right where he left off in the original film as they decide to leave the 70s and jump right into the 80s. Kristen Wiig joins the team as “Tamland’s wife” with the group planning to tell San Diego to go “Fuck Themselves” and head to NYC.
Ron only wants to do what he was put on this earth to do and that’s have “salon quality hair”, and read the news! Nothing much is revealed about the storyline in the trailer, but we see new cast member Meagan Good featured in the first trailer teased to have a romantic relationship with Ron. Drake and Kanye West who have been revealed to partake in the movie weren’t seen in this trailer, which we’ll have to wait until the near future for more classic Anchorman laughter.
