Apple Announces Apple TV+, Apple Card, Apple News+ and Apple Arcade

As always with Apple, it likes to make a big deal out of its announcements. Instead of focusing on new products, which instead rolled out last week, today’s conference at the Steve Jobs Theater was all about expanding services.

Among the many announcements during today’s event were Apple TV+, Apple Card, Apple News+ and Apple Arcade, which will all be available on products you probably own already.

Find out more about each of them below.

Apple TV+

Apple has finally launched its long-talked about video subscription service called Apple TV+. It will feature exclusive shows with the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, J.J. Abrams, M. Night Shyamalan and more.

Coinciding with that, Apple has also redesigned the Apple TV app, which puts everything in one place. Users can pay for only services they want, such as HBO, SHOWTIME and Starz, and sports, news and network TV from cable and satellite providers. No additional apps are needed — everything will be inside the Apple TV app, which will be available on Amazon Fire TV, LG, Roku, Sony and VIZIO.

Apple Card

Apple is introducing its own credit card, which is built into the Apple Wallet to use with Apple Pay. There’s a simple application process, no fees, low interest rates and better rewards.

There’s also a titanium card for places that don’t accept Apple Pay yet. It has no card number, CVV security code, expiration date or signature on the card, making it more secure than your typical credit card.
