Apple Reportedly Launching New TV Streaming Service

The Apple streaming service is on track to arrive this fall!

For several years, Apple has been trying to get into the cord-cutting market, but have been unsuccessful with networks unsure of jumping outside of the box.” Not seen at last week’s Spring Forward event, The Wall Street Journal has learned Apple is reportedly planning to launch an online streaming TV service that will allow users to stream live channels within Apple TV and iOS devices.

With the exception of NBCUniversal, (prior dispute from parent Comcast with Apple), Walt Disney Co., CBS Corp., and 21st Century Fox Inc. are in talks to be three of the major 25 networks launching with the service this fall. Along with their sister networks like ESPN, FX and NFL Network expected to be included, Apple can now throw their weight around with TV ratings being at an all-time low, as the previously mentioned broadcasters are desperate for resurgence in regaining viewers to watch live TV.

The TV service is expected to cost between $30 and $40 a month and is expected to launch with 25 high-profile channels this fall. Look for more details to arrive this June at the Apple WWDC 2015 Keynote Address – leading up to the Apple iPhone 6S event in September.
