“You got to let people know you’re doing the garden!”
With Aziz Ansari on the road doing shows in Houston, Dallas, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C., the biggest show of them all goes down this Thursday when he hits New York City for back-to-back dates at Madison Square Garden. During his visit on The Late Show with David Letterman, Aziz revealed how he came to the conclusion to play in MSG, thanks to a talk he had with Chris Rock in Toronto.
He also said he will be filming at the ‘Garden, so expect the special to air on a network soon enough (maybe Netflix again?).
Letterman also asked Aziz about his life now is, specifically his relationship with his girlfriend. Aziz joked about how she’s a chef and always cooks delicious things for him but somehow, that hasn’t translated to him getting fat. He then went on to say he’s a feminist because of her and talked about the impact of his parents immigrating to South Carolina from India.
The way how he described why he’s a feminist, though. He compared it to JAY Z and Beyonce.
