Last season on HBO’s Ballers, Spencer and Joe didn’t have many foes besides the boss breathing down on them to close deals and their football players making dumbass decisions to jeopardize big money contracts. Reggie could be looked at as an enemy, but he was just looking out for his and his friend’s best interest.
It looks like season two of the HBO series is introducing a shark to the table, who might be fucking with what Spencer and Joe have going on. Whether they go after his throat or not remains to be seen, but there’s a new bad guy in the mix and he might just ruin everything the two agents have struggled to build over the course of the first season.
As you can see from the trailer, Ricky is still trying to be a smooth talker (and getting in trouble), Vernon is still partying, and Charles continues to search and figure life out.
