On December 16th, an all-new biopic titled Barry, based on the life of Barack Obama, is coming to Netflix. In the first teaser out this week, we get a first look at the show, which follows Obama at the time he arrives in New York City in 1981 to start Columbia University. “Barry is the story of a young man grappling with those same issues that his country, and arguably the world, are still coming to terms with 35 years later,” read the description. The title “Barry” refers to the name his friends call him.
Stars include Devon Terrell, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jason Mitchell and Ashley Judd.
