A few weeks back the internet was sent ablaze when it was announced that Batman would be featured in the sequel to this years Man Of Steel film. Fans immediately got excited with all of the possibilities for this sequel, which is coming in July of 2015, and all the directions DC can go with the storyline. Up until last night it was not known who would be taking over the role of Bruce Wayne in the film, but that all changed when it was announced that Ben Affleck would be taking over the historic role.
As you might expect this sent the internet into an absolute frenzy filled with debates and bickering. At first glance it does seem like an odd choice, but the more we think about it the more we like the idea of Affleck in the spot. He is coming off a huge year in which he won multiple Oscars for his latest film Argo. So until we actually see Affleck as Bruce Wayne on the big screen we really have no room to judge.
