While the 20-year murder of Christopher Wallace still remains a mystery, A&E wanted to tribute the legendary artist with a new authorized project. The 2-hour special, Biggie: The Life of the Notorious B.I.G., premiered Monday night, giving a look into the life of Frank White.

With help from his immediate family of Voletta Wallace, Faith Evans and Sean Combs; the project gives the most personal and revealing documentary about Mr. Wallace, that anyone in the general public has ever seen. The likes of JAY-Z, Nas, 2 Chainz, Mike WiLL Made-It and T-Pain were also among a select few names to talk about the late rapper’s legacy in this piece.
